[BUSAN] Finding a café in Busan with one of the best seaside views?
Edge 993 엣지 993 is a cool spot at Haeundae, Busan 부산 해운대, that’s got everything from awesome ocean views to a cosy vibe.
It’s right at the end of Dalmaji Hill 달맞이길.
This café offers unrestricted, panoramic views of the ocean, making it a prime spot for those seeking a serene escape with a view that’s hard to beat.
There’s no direct train here. You can take a cab or the Busan Metro to Haeundae Station (Line 2).
(Travel tip: it is also a short walk from the Haeundae Beach Train station at Mipo Station where tourists would want to take the Haeundae Sky Capsule.)
From there, you could either catch a local bus that gets closer to Dalmaji Hill or enjoy the long scenic walk.
The cafe spans several floors, including a rooftop area, providing guests with a variety of perspectives on the stunning seascape.
The lower floors serve as a guesthouse, which means you can hang out or even stay the night. Pretty neat, right?
Up top, there’s a rooftop area where you can get a bird’s eye view of the ocean.
However, it can get a bit windy and chilly, and most would move indoors to the 5th floor, which also boasts impressive views through its large, glass windows.
Food and drink wise, I would say it would be the run-of-the-mill cafe stuff.
Prices are a tad higher than the usual, but understandable due to the vantage views it provides.
Specialty drinks include Edge Matcha Cream Latte, Edge Strawberry Latte, Edge Choco Latte, to Edge Black Sesame Latte.
Each cup is about 7,000 Won to 7,500 Won.
There are the typical coffee drinks of Americano (5,500 Won), Cafe Latte (6,500 Won) and Caramel Latte (7,000 Won).
But there’s something about enjoy a cold drink against the backdrop of Haeundae’s splendid ocean view.
While I pretty much enjoyed the Sweet Potato Bread (5,000 Won), let’s not lie and it is pretty much the ambiance and view being the main attractions.
Edge 993 a recommended spot for those looking to enjoy Busan’s coastal beauty.
