Blending fashion and fine chocolate, Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric has opened within Louis Vuitton at Marina Bay Sands.
Helmed by the award-winning Chef Pâtissier Maxime Frédéric renowned for his craftsmanship at Cheval Blanc Paris, this chocolaterie presents an array of handcrafted chocolates.
There was a short queue when I visited, but it wasn’t too long.
Of course the store’s décor and presentation of chocolates, are designed to reflect the luxury synonymous with Louis Vuitton.
You would see a display that mirrors an art gallery, where chocolates, embossed with the brand’s signature motifs, are showcased like artifacts.
Among the creations is the Vivienne on Malle, a chocolate masterpiece inspired by a music box, featuring the brand’s mascot, Vivienne.
Also look out for the Petula – a pet lion filled with coated hazelnuts.
The ingredients are sourced by Frédéric himself from his farm in Normandy.
This includes a special variety of hazelnuts and eggs from chickens he has personally cultivated, ensuring each chocolate piece is of the highest quality.
Some of the items you can check out include:
Monogram Flower ($40)
Each shell is meticulously filled with a blend of nuts and caramel, offering four distinct flavours.
These include the buckwheat gianduja with Reunion blue vanilla caramel, the rich hazelnut gianduja with Tahitian vanilla caramel, the pistachio gianduja with orange flower caramel, and the classic peanut gianduja paired with Madagascar vanilla caramel.
Filled Chocolate Pralines ($75 for 120g)
